Reflections of Christ

We had an amazing night at Mutual. We went to the temple visitor's center to see the Reflections of Christ presentation by photographer Mark Mabry. It was very powerful and a neat thing to experience together. First we watched a documentary on how the pictures were made and where they were taken. Then we did the walking tour where they had the photographs displayed with beautiful music enhancing the art. We all had our favorites. I love the flying angels picture because it reminds me of my own sweet angel Beehives!

Afterwards we went to Sister B's house and made s'mores. Yummy!

New Church Web Site

To learn more about the Lord Jesus Christ and His essential role in our lives, visit JesusChrist.lds.org, a new Web site sponsored by the Church.

Using the words of latter-day prophets and apostles as its foundation, the site focuses solely on the life, teachings, and mission of the Savior and how we can come unto Him and invite others to do the same. In addition to the teachings of Church leaders, the site provides links to the scriptures, additional articles, and multimedia presentations. The new site is a helpful resource for anyone who wishes to know firsthand what Latter-day Saints believe about Jesus Christ. It is also a valuable reference that Church members can use as they share their beliefs with others.

Snow Day

We had such a wonderful time Saturday up in the snowy winter wonderland. Many many thanks to the leaders who got us safely up there and for those who prepared a fun sled run.

Give me a J! Give me an E-S-S-I-E!

Valentine's Cookies

HUGE thanks to Sister Rock for baking dozens and dozens of heart-shaped cookies on a stick so we could make cookie bouquets! We had so much fun decorating the cookies and then wrapping them in cellophane and topping them off with a pretty ribbon to give away.

I Have Two Little Hands That Can Do So Much!

This week's Mutual activity was to make collages showing service using pictures in the Church magazines and adding our own handprints. Huge thanks to those who contributed to our activity by donating their Ensigns and New Eras.

And then into the gym to play dodgeball with the Deacons.
